Private tutor in Meyrin, Switzerland

Education

I graduated high honors from University of California - Davis with a B.S. in Physics in 2012. MA in Physics from Boston University in 2014. I am currently a graduate student studying High Energy (Particle) Experimental Physics at Boston University. The experiment I work on is the ATLAS detector at the LHC based just outside of Geneva, Switzerland.

Experience

I have had scattered previous private tutoring experience, taught undergraduate and graduate lab and discussion sections for my first six semesters at Boston University. I have taken physics courses through my fourth year in graduate school. I have also taken classes in C, C++, and General Chemistry. I have worked for two summers as a student research assistant at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in Berkeley, CA, and was employed for four years as a software development engineer for a Building Information Modeling consulting firm based in Seattle, WA. I want to be a tutor to improve my ability to teach, something I am finding to be more and more important as my responsibilities grow as a graduate student. It is also a productive way to fill in the gaps in my income.
